As we enter November, I have been noting a few things I am feeling grateful for.
Beautiful fall weather.
The ambition of my future 'applesauce guy' (one response to "What do you think you want to be when you grow up?")
The fresh hazelnuts brought from Oregon by Grandma, enjoyed in everything we can put them in.
The wisdom I am gaining from Jack Petrash's interviews.
Being part of a community working together to carry out a vision.
My current creation in pink!
A much better organized home, thanks to a joint effort of reducing and creating better use of, well, stuff.
The originality of my kids, from the Halloween fairy costume choice to teeth growing in random order. (Two bottom teeth followed by the top incisors. A vampire baby in time for Halloween!)
Surprise visits from Grams.
The amazing makers that I am surrounded by in the Bay Area and a hugely successful EB MIni Maker Faire highlighting so many of them.
All the seasonal surprises, along with the pastured eggs brought each week from Eatwell Farms.
The Giants winning the World Series, and a husband who placed a wise bet last Spring. ;)
